It was quite fun to sit and draw for a bit. I always feel too busy to do anything and sitting down to have some leisure time and draw was very enjoyable. I really enjoy drawing because it’s a fun way to express yourself and I’d love to do this again with a few of my friends, or just by myself too.
If I were to practice for 100 or more hours, I would definitely improve because the experience would be constantly changing. With each time I practice, I would change something I didn’t like, trying to improve it to fit my tastes. “Practice makes perfect” is a famous saying and I believe this to be true.
As a biology major I have to visualize parts of a body or how cells work together and other things such as that and sketching would make this job easier as I’d be able to draw out ideas on a paper to help others visualize what I’m trying to explain.
Drawing is most definitely a language. Art can help people visualize feelings of emotion that can’t perfectly be explained verbally. The chaos put onto a paper can help others understand the inner turmoil of the artist and this is exactly how art can be a language.
